National Fuel Rebates - Northeast Mechanical Inc.

National Fuel's Conservation Incentive Program offers residential and small, non-residential customers in National Fuel's western New York service area a number of money-saving rebates when you buy an Energy StarR-rated programmable thermostat or when you replace specified space and water heating appliances with new, energy efficient models. When you combine the rebates of as much as $400 with the projected fuel savings realized by using more efficient equipment, you'd be amazed at how quickly these new appliances can pay for themselves.

National Fuel Rebates

Please note: the program is only eligible to Western New York customers in our service territory. Rebate offers are available for qualifying equipment purchased and installed on or after November 1, 2007, only. Space and water heating appliances must be installed by a contractor. Contractors must be able to supply one of the following in order for the rebate application to be considered complete: Federal ID number, a Certificate of Insurance or a Business Certificate showing their company's name and address. Rebates are available for equipment upgrades only. New-builds are not eligible for rebates.

In order for a rebate application to be considered complete and processed, the following information must be supplied:

Purchased item		Required documentation
Programmable thermostat		Receipt; make and model number, UPC (bar code) label from the package (only ENERGY STARR-rated models qualify).
Furnace, Boiler and Water Heater		Paid invoice or receipt(s) indicating the Retailer/Contractor name, Federal ID number, or a Certificate of Insurance or a Business Certificate showing their company's name and address. Itemized description of each product, including: Manufacturer, and complete model number. Energy Factor (EF) for natural gas water heaters. AFUE (efficiency) rating for natural gas furnace or boiler. Product installation date.

Natural gas is the most efficient and cleanest fossil fuel available. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, natural gas also produces a significantly smaller volume of greenhouse gasses, compared to oil or other fossil fuels used in the production of electricity.

When you conserve natural gas, you not only help your pocket book, you reduce emissions further, and that's something that will help your children, their children, and generations to come.
